This week's eventsNewsJune 02: The house cleaning project at Jessika's last weekend was a huge success. Praise the Lord! The project was not supposed to start until 9am, but brothers and sisters were so eager to help some of them were actually there at 8am. Can you picture this...how awesome it is to have folks from different HP divisions (also some friends and relatives) come together working towards the same goal? Some mowed the lawn, some trimmed the edge, some cleaned the kitchen, some vacuumed the floor, some drove stuff to the dump, the list goes on and on... I saw the type of discipline and seamless co-operations displayed usually in the army... certainly in this case, it was an army of love, and an army from God.Special thanks to all of you who supported us in many different ways -- whether through being there, prayer, and financial gifts. May God bless you greatly. For those volunteers we had to turn down due to the overwhelming responses we had received, we would definitely keep your offer in mind. Though the weekend house-cleaning project is done, praying for Jessika's healing and salvation are the more important goals we want to achieve. I have no doubt we can count on you to continue with your provide prayer support in the months ahead. |
